Uses
Losartan is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and to help protect the kidney from damage due to diabetes. It is also used to reduce the risk of stroke in high blood pressure and enlarged heart patients. Reducing hypertension helps in preventing stroke, heart attack and kidney problems. Losartan belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs). It works by relaxing the blood vessels so that the blood flows more easily.
How to use Losartan potassium

Take losartan guided by your doctor, usually once daily or without food. Dosage is based on your medical condition and treatment response.

Side Effects

Precautions

Missed Dose
